About Us
Katie Hawks
Founder/President Emeritus 2023-2025
Hi, I’m Katie – welcome to the Tiny Hearts Foundation! I’m a high school student at Greenwich Academy in Greenwich, CT. I’m interested in the intersection of medical anthropology and women’s health. I’ve always had a love for babies and an interest in women’s and prenatal health. Founding the Tiny Hearts Foundation was the perfect way for me to help low-income bilingual women give their newborns a good start in life and in our community. I am pleased to be partnering with Open Door of Portchester, NY to bring high school students together to raise funds and needed newborn supplies to those who need them most. (2025 UPDATE! I am now a Freshman at the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business)
William Hawks

Hi, I’m William! I’m a junior at the Brunswick School in Greenwich, CT. I play varsity squash and am on the tennis team. I was proud to watch my sister launch Tiny Hearts and was thrilled to be a co-founder. I have learned from her leadership and am excited to continue the next phase of Tiny Hearts. I love my community and children and am happy to be helping to gather needed supplies to help families in need give their newborns a healthy start in life. I am interested in the impact of the environment on public health and eager to continue partnering with Open Door on community initiatives. This year, I’m eager to help with a STEM-focused toy drive and to gather book donations for the Reach Out and Read program. We will also continue gathering newborn essentials for families in need. We have a great year ahead!

Jenna
Vice President Emeritus 2023-2025
Hello! My name is Jenna Antoine, and I am thrilled to be a part of this incredible nonprofit organization. A little about myself: I am currently a Senior attending Greenwich Academy and am active in various leadership roles. As a student at GA, I was finally given the opportunity to find a community that has always stuck beside me. When I am not busy with school work, I am always found talking to my peers and teachers. Through these cherished interactions with others, I have always shown interest and found ways to give back to the community that has truly changed my life. Whether it is both inside and outside of school (within my community in Bridgeport, CT), I can thankfully say that I have found ways to give back. To conclude, I am super excited to contribute my skills to further the mission of this nonprofit and can’t wait for its lasting impact. So, let us bring change that will make a difference within our community! (UPDATE: I am now a freshman at Trinity College!)
Mia Wilson
Ambassador Emeritus 2024-2025
Hello, my name is Mia Wilson. I’m 18 years old and currently a senior at Greenwich Academy. I’m excited to be an ambassador for the Tiny Hearts Foundation. Alongside my studies, I’m also a member of the Varsity Track and Field team. In the classroom, my interests lie in Law, which truly flourished when I took my criminal justice class last fall. Additionally, my involvement with the Institute of Public Purpose further nurtured my passion. Through this institute, I had the opportunity to learn about government structures and voting processes, culminating in a trip to Washington DC to explore different government positions. Outside of academics, I dedicate my time to volunteering. I assist at The Cowin Center in the mornings, and I’m also involved with The Small Things, a non-profit organization where I read to students from Tanzania over Zoom. For me, the Tiny Hearts Foundation represents an excellent opportunity to give back to the community and support those in need. I’ve always had a deep-seated passion for helping others, and I’m excited to fulfill this through my role as an ambassador. (UPDATE: I am now a freshman at Spelman College!)

Hi, I’m Priya Marsh and I’m a junior! In school, I run cross country in the fall and track in the spring, and outside of school I love to go rock climbing on the weekends. My favorite things to do in my free time are listen to music, rearrange my room, and read about topics I find interesting, like philosophy and astrophysics. I joined the Tiny Hearts Foundation because I think it is not only really important to give back to the community and help those in need, but it is also so amazing to see the positive impact that we can all make on others.

I’m Denise, and I’m 17 and a senior. I do volleyball and skiing, and I am a member of the Yearbook team. I am interested in joining this organization because I would like to make a meaningful difference in the lives of families and make sure they have the support they deserve. Additionally, every year at my old school, each grade would donate childcare items for a family in need, and it was a really great way to help people out, so I would like to continue that!

Hi, my name is Julia Kahn! I’m 17 years old and I’m currently a senior. At school my favorite subjects this year have been chemistry and spanish.
